Spring Camporee 2001


  • Date: Friday, May 18, 2001 to Sunday, May 20, 2001

  • Place: Meet at Mr. Bello's house at 4:00pm. From there, we will be going to
                  the Suffolk County Farm & Education Center, Yaphank Ave,
                  Yaphank.

  • Cost: $5.00 per person (not including food costs). Make all checks payable
                  to Suffolk County Council BSA.

  • Time: Check in starts at 5:30pm

  • Stations:

    Pioneering- camp gadget contest         Sign Language

  • Schedule:
    Friday:4:00pm-Meet at Mr. Bello's house
    5:30pm-Check in begins
    9:30pm-SPL Cracker-barrel & meeting
    10:30pm-       Check in ends for the evening

    9:30am-Spring Camporee Trail Begins

  • Note: Alternate check in is on Saturday from 6:30am to 8:00am. The Campfire is at 8:15pm Saturday night. Each troop must perform a skit. Be prepared for cool weather. There will be no ground fires permitted at your campsite. Water will be available, but to be on the safe side, bring your water bottles filled.
